I've just tucked thousands of tulips into our family's raised bed garden for the 2024 Tulip Share! The rainbow of tulips blooming outside of my window each spring puts the wind in my sails at the start of each new growing season. And the magic of local tulips that are harvested the same day you pick them up, is the drama that unfolds in the vase as their blooms open and their stems bend into a living work of art lasting well over a week and usually two!
What: Our Tulip Share includes one LUSH mixed or mono bouquet of 20+ tulips each week for 3 weeks at the end of April/beginning of May depending on peak bloom time. We'll keep you updated early to mid April, and exact dates will be determined a week before the start of the Tulip Share. Tulips are for farm pick-up each Friday afternoon - exact time TBD.
Where: Farm pickup in lower Easton, CT. Exact location and pickup window will be emailed to you a week before the first pickup.
*Any bouquets left after the pickup window will be lovingly donated to Real Food CT. If you're not available for the pickup window, you're welcome to have someone else pick up for you.

By purchasing a flower share from Rising Iris Farm, you are participating in a CSA: Community-Supported Agriculture. Our CSA program funds our upcoming or next season's start-up costs allowing us to purchase our supplies, seeds, compost, etc. We depend on our CSA memberships to operate our small farm and in turn, we are committed to offering you unique, organically grown flowers. While there is no guarantee of the quantity or variety of flowers in each bouquet, we promise that they are thoughtfully designed and harvested with the freshest in-season blooms. Purchasing local flowers supports environmentally sustainable flower production as well as our local bees and pollinators!
