Chamomile
Matricaria recutita
A classic calming flower for visibly stressed skin.
Chamomile contains flavonoids such as apigenin, luteolin, and quercetin, along with naturally soothing aromatic compounds. In the serum, it supports the feeling of calm, especially for skin that looks flushed, feels delicate, or reacts easily to weather, stress, or too much exfoliation.
Yarrow
Achillea millefolium
A quiet powerhouse for skin that feels thrown off.
Yarrow is less famous than calendula or chamomile, but it has a serious apothecary history. Topical yarrow oil extracts have been studied for their ability to improve the look and feel of irritated skin. We use it for skin that feels overworked, uneven, or in need of steadying comfort.

The comfort flower for dry, depleted skin.
Calendula petals are rich in carotenoids, flavonoids, and triterpenoids, plant compounds studied for their antioxidant and skin-soothing properties. We slow-infuse the flowers into jojoba to help cushion skin that feels tight, rough, fragile, or weather-worn.
Indigo
Persicaria tinctoria
The deep blue botanical with a long skin-calming history.
Indigo has been studied in dermatology for its active color compounds, including indigo, indirubin, and tryptanthrin. In our formula, farm-grown indigo leaves are slow-infused into oil for botanical depth, antioxidant character, and a quiet sense of calm for reactive-looking skin.
