Indigo: Our Local Blue
Join Rising Iris founder Rachael Kemery for a restorative workshop at the farm dedicated to the art and magic of Japanese Indigo. Using the Indigo we grow on the farm, we’ll discover three of the many wonderful gifts Indigo shares with us.
Our Local Blue:
We’ll learn the magical fresh extraction “salt rub” method to create a beautiful and versatile Indigo silk scarf.
A Soothing Balm:
Did you know Indigo has topical benefits? We’ll create an indigo balm that’s both beautiful and soothing.
Indigo Tea:
Yes! You can drink Indigo! We’ll sip indigo tea and learn about the history and other interesting ancient uses of this wonderful plant.
Where: At our family flower farm in Easton, CT, nestled between the forest and the flowers. Exact address will be emailed to you before the workshop.

Our indigo workshop is for ages 15+. For beginners and experts and everyone in between. Refunds aren’t available for this workshop but if something comes up, please reach out to Rachael@RisingIrisFarm.com and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

How To Use
Warm a small amount between your palms and massage into damp or dry skin until absorbed.
